Welcome to Something Blue Bakery boutique wedding and custom cake shop located in Lafayette, Indiana, established in 2011 by cake artist Makenzie Kus.

Makenzie received her degree in scenic design from Indiana University Bloomington and worked as a scenic artist before finding her passion for cake design.  She has had the honor of appearing on Food Network's Winner Cake All, as well as features in several magazines, including CakeMasters, Lafayette, and IU Alumni.  Something Blue Bakery has also been featured on The Knot Real Weddings, Wedding Day, Weddings in Indiana, and Indy Style.

We enjoy working with our clients to create the perfect cake for their special day, using the freshest and high-quality ingredients to ensure the cake is as delicious as it is detailed.  Something Blue Bakery hopes you feel inspired by our cake designs and we look forward to working with you.
